Dr. Resham Srivastava is a Associate Director Radiation Oncology at the Medanta Hospital, Lucknow. She did her post graduation from the prestigious SGPGIMS, Lucknow and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Radiation Oncology.

She has worked as senior resident and chief registrar at SGPGIMS and KGMU, respectively. After completing her residency she joined MPMMCC (Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre) and HBCH Varanasi (Unit of Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai) as Assistant Professor and was among the founder faculty of the department.

She is also credited with founding the department of Radiotherapy at Globe Healthcare, Lucknow. Dr. Srivastava takes keen interest in the academics and is a life member of various academic oncology societies. She is also keenly involved in research and has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals. She is an expert in IMRT/IGRT /VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy), DIBH (Deep inspiration breath hold technique), SBRT, and SRT.

Present Position

Associate Director Radiation Oncology at Medanta Hospital since January 2023.

Joined Tata Memorial Hospital, Varanasi as Assistant Professor in July 2018 and was among the first two consultants to join the department. I was involved in the installation of the first machine there.

I moved to Lucknow in June 2021, and started the Department of Radiation Oncology at Globe healthcare, Lucknow. I got the machine (LINAC TRUEBEAM) and Gamma Med Brachytherapy machine installed at Globe hospital. First patient was treated in the department under my supervision.

I joined Medanta Hospital, Lucknow in January 2023, and was part of the machine installation (TRUE BEAM EDGE) and brachytherapy installation (BRAVOS). The first patient was treated under my supervision. More than 700 patients have been treated under my supervision over a span of two years.
